Motor Image Racing Team

Cody Crocker - Driver

Now 3 time Asia Pacific Rally Champion, Cody has asserted his dominance in every championship he has entered since his early beginnings with Subaru in 1998. In fact, the only championship he hasn’t won in that time was 2002, when he finished second to the legendary Possum Bourne in the Australian Rally Championship.

Ben Atkinson - Co-Driver

Alongside Cody, Ben is also a 3 time Asia Pacific Champion co-driver. Since joining Cody in 2006, the pair notched up 10 consecutive APRC wins. They have taken top spot on the APRC podium in 16 of the 18 APRC events contested. Ben’s diligence and professional attitude play a big part in their success.

Emma Gilmour - Driver

New to the Motor Image Racing Team for 2009 is arguably currently the best female rally driver in the world. The Kiwi’s racing experience is not limited to just New Zealand but includes events in the UK, Finland and Japan. Emma’s resume is strong, with good event results and many outright fastest stage times in National and APRC events.

Rhianon Smyth - Co-Driver

A very valuable addition to the Motor Image Racing Team, Rhianon competed with Emma in the first 3 rounds in 09. Sadly, disaster struck with Rhianon suffering serious injuries in a rally accident while codriving in a rally in August. We wish her all the best for a speedy recovery. She’ll be sadly missed in the team. Filling in currently is Claire Mole from the UK.

The Team

Motor Image Chief Glenn Tan and the entire team are passionate about winning. It’s all smiles for the team as they’ve taken out the 2007 APRC Driver’s and Manufacturer’s championships for Subaru.
